{{HUGS}} nsangel, I am so sorry! I can somewhat relate to the car troubles and my heart really goes out to you. My dh was without a job 8 months last year, we have 3 kids. He got a job, oct 1, his first night to go to work, my tire blew. the second day, the radiator hose blew apart. Replaced it, and, went to church (wednesday night) and on the way home with 5 kids in the car, my ENGINE blew. cracked the head. He had to borrow a truck for a week, to get to work, five days cost him over $100 in gas, his check...$201.33. we now have a little station wagon, it has 2 bad cv joints, and a severe transmission fluid leak, lol, but at least he's getting to work in it.
I'm still praying this whole incident is one big blessing in disguise for you!

Candy worked for me, but SLEIGH never did, anyone else have problems with that one?

wow. that sounds like the way my past 2 years have gone. (5 cars in 2 years, one we bought off kijiji, JUST safety'd and i get letter from MVI had to be redone, the person wasn't qualifed that did it. turned out, the car was complete lemon, drove 3 weeks, junked, paid $700 for it. couldn't go after the guy because dmv said that he "in good faith" took it to an official inspection station. if i went after garage, all i would get is the mvi done 2nd time free. not fair. will not buy any more cars off kijiji.

badnews: my dishwasher broke. well, it's not lighting up or comming on. i'm hoping it's just unplugged from the basement or faulty fuse, but i don't think it's the fuse because i think it's on the same fuse as the lights..and they're all working. wish me luck on that! i hate doing dishes..arrrrgh.. hubby is exhausted. 64 hour week! so i can't get him up and it's totally full and not a clean glass in house. omg.

Hey, NSangel, I was reading your posts about your car troubles and...WOW!!!

I know sometimes it seems like the world is out to get you when everything happens at once. But don't forget you have lots of friends at SC who are rooting for you.

And good things will happen...starting, no doubt, with your son's cadet competition. I know he'll be great!!!!

As for the car troubles, I can feel your pain. About 3-4 years ago we had some vehicle issues including a fender-bender that jacked up our insurance rates to an insane amount followed by the engine in our van having a meltdown...the details of the story are too long for this post (though if you're interested you can PM me).

Things will turn around for you, NSangel. Start by making yourself that cup of tea with something really strong (I suggest the DARK chocolate...works for me).

NSAngel I am praying for you!

One thing I have done in the past that has really helped is write a letter to that woman. Well, actually, write two. The first one you can use every "naughty" word you can think of and the second one is to tell her how she has affected you and your family. You may never be able to actually give it to her ( though if she gets charged with something, Victim Services sometimes can help you there) but it does feel better. When this is all over, or when the time is right (you'll know) you can have a little ceremony and burn it, stomp on it...whatever moves you and your family. I know it sounds goofy but you'd be amazed at how good it feels and how much it helps.

I have a huge crush on Jared. I met him a couple of times. I'm going to see him at another Supernatural convention in September. I will change my signature back to Jared in a couple of days. I'm glad you're hooked on the show. It's my favorite.

thanks for words of support. I just found out who my *true* friends were. My "friend" sold me car #2 so i could have 2 cars and drive her mentally challenged person around. ok. but i get paid. So I had offerred to take H with me to cadets to keep him out of her hair because i felt guilty not being able to drive him to work. i called her last night and left msg about the car and asked that she call me back. Instead she emails me 7:45am to ask me:
Are you still able to drive H this am?

no words of sympathy for our troubles.. no offer to let us pay a little less or longer to pay on the car (was paying part out of my pay)

now she KNOWS i would have had to drive my hubby to work (45 mins away) for 8 since his car broke. maybe it is a blessing in disguise. i feel used.

we need more words so i can get back on topic. GOOD NEWS. dishwasher was only a blown fuse! HOOHA!
