Adopted a cat

Well, we adopted a cat. We got the go ahead we just had to clean the litter and dishes etc and while we hadn't planned on getting another addition to our family so soon there was an urgent call from the SPCA in our area, they are so overrun they were having another cat "sale" for $50. We went in, and fell in love with a one year old (approx) furbaby that was a stray.

Basically her story was she was hit by a car and a motorist took her into the vet, paid for her to be stitched, checked over, all her shots (including rabies) and full blood work!! They aren't sure if it was the person who hit her or just someone with a big heart. They shelter also spayed her, but everything else was taken care of.

She had been in the shelter since April and she is so tame and lovey I find it hard to believe she was a stray ever. We fell in love with two kittys both the same age, we decided on her since she had been in the shelter longer. It took a bit of explaing to the kids as they wanted a kitten, but these older cats need homes too!

Heres some pictures, I *think* so far were going with the name Anna. She is not a replacement, but an additon. My mom thinks that she wasn't adopted yet because she was waiting for us Either way she is gorgeous with a nice temperment. Hopefully it wont take long for my 2 babies to get along. Shes leary of Marbles, he just wants to lick her lol.
