Regular Price: $175+
Sale Price: $143.25
Paid: $13.77
Earned: 1280 More Rewards Points (~$2.33)
Store: Price Smart Foods
Comments:
-Got pretty much everything I was looking for
-I planned on pricematching Cascades Paper Towels with Rexall to get them free+overage but they didn't have the 2-Roll size.
-The store had exactly eleven Sunlight Pacs left (that was actually the exact amount I wanted to get). I asked the customer service manager if I could pre-order and pick them up next week but she said I could just get them all since they were getting a shipment tonight.
-Store manager came over and asked me what I was going to be using all the Sunlight for. I told him that I do three loads of dishes per week and with 220 pacs, I would end up using these in under a year and a half. He told me he just wanted to make sure I wasn't just hoarding or selling them.
-I accidentally forgot to pricematch the Nivea Bodywash
-I split the order into two so that I could use two points offers

A few others things I saved on today.
I switched my Shaw service to this year's Student/Campus Internet plan. I got Highspeed 25 for $22.45/month for 8 months. Regular price is $60/month.
I got a $5 credit from Panago Pizza. They called me and told me that they've added a $5 credit to my account because I haven't ordered pizza from them in awhile.Last edited by SmartConsumer; Thu, Aug 8th, 2013 at 10:34 PM.

I went stacking at Pricesmart today too. Here is my little brag following your post.
Total due: $43.26 / Total coupons redeemed: $43.50 / OOP: $0.00
3 X crest 3d white toothpaste (PM with Safeway, $1.66 each)
3 X oral b advantage plus toothbrush ( no PM, $1.79 each)
3 X crest pro-health rinse (PM with RCSS, $3.47 each)
4 X Kashi cracker (PM with SOF, $2.50 each)
2 X Ritz Crackerfulz (PM with Rexall, $1.49 each)
2 X Iogo 0% yogurt (PM with IGA, $3 each)
1 X Iogo 200ml drinkable bottle (PM with IGA, $0.98 each)
plus earned 375 more rewards points when spending $35 or more. (too bad, I didn't earn 2000 points on Kashi cracker. It was advertised on SOF flyer only. But both SOF and PSF have more rewards program, right?)

I asked one of the cashiers awhile back whether or not it was ok to pricematch the flyer a day earlier and was told it was ok. Every store and every cashier is different so you'll have to check with your store to know their policy.
The store I go to pricematches the points as well. Next time, ask the store manager or head cashier whether or not they pricematch the points as well. You missed out on roughly $3.64 worth of points.

Every retailer has the right to refuse a sale.... if it is for another retailer that's a concern for them. They want to sell to their customers, not to the competition and thus act as a warehouse. It means they won't have stock for their regular clientele.
Although, the hoarding comment ???? (Mind you, I save enough at PriceSmart and Save-on-Foods that a question like that would just make me smile and give a polite, hmourous response. Don't want to ruin a good thing!)Last edited by DianneS; Sat, Aug 10th, 2013 at 11:29 PM.
