Does Canadian Tire allow you to use coupons that are more than the price of the product? Will they just adjust it?

Snuggle is going to be on sale for $1.00 and I have a $1.50 coupon. Will they allow it?

Also, on the coupon it says, "applicable taxes charged on full value BEFORE coupon reduction"..so does that mean if the product is $1.00+ tax=$1.13, they'll change the coupon value to $1.13 rather than $1.00 value before tax if they don't allow overage? So I'll get it free?

    I hope that makes sense.
