Zellers in Cole Harbour

OMG... Hubby tried to price match today..was told there was to much of a gap between their price and the competitors!!! He pushed it, they relunctantly agreed to price match..but wouldn't let him use the coupon...price match 1.50 coupon 1.50...girl ACTUALLY said to him that means he would get it free and he can't do that...she referred him to the floor mgr who said they are having problems getting reimbursed for online coupons...hubby said this isn't an online coupon but a manufacturer's coupon...they both said this was the MANAGER"S policy...has anyone ever tired calling the 1888 Customer Service #...now that was an experience I tell you...have left a message on the district manager's phone, will see how that goes....customer service is going to send me their policy...she said that the coupon can exceed or be the same value as the product...told her the online policy only states that the coupon can't exceed the product value...sigh...rant over lol

I had problems with Zellers as well,,, I didn't really get any where with HO or local, so I just dont' shop there,,, Shame the cashiers are awesome as most of them use coupons and are members of this site lol ,,,

That's awful! I've never had a problem price matching at Mic Mac.

Well, this is the very very last time I will shop at that store. Will remove my perscription's from there as well...will start looking at other store's for perscription prices...can't believe them....( oh dear...still upset lol ) They are soooo uninformed !

I hardly ever try use a coupon at Zellers. They always try to give me the run-around. I would rather just go shop somewhere else.

That's odd, I have NEVER had a problem using coupons at Zellers (both locations), and my cashiers are always a dream!

I haven't used a lot of coupons at Zellers but when I have it was either Mic Mac or Bedford. Both have been good. I even chatted with the cashier about couponing at Mic Mac.

aparently costco has the best precription cost and you don't have to be a member. Thats what I heard check it out. Pharmasave in cole harbour is great. I like that it is locally owned and they have double coupon days too!

My parents have used the CH pharmasave for years and love it. The pharmacist there is great!.

I avoid Zellers at all costs. I never have anything but problems there.

HBC will accept manufacturer’s coupons provided that they contain a barcode and the terms and conditions are fully legible.
The value of the coupon must not exceed the current retail price of the item being purchased. If the coupon states that it is only one per purchase, then you may only use one coupon per purchase.
If the coupon indicates, one per item, then you may use more than one coupon per purchase but only one per item.
We will also accept on-line manufacturer’s coupons but only those from the vendor’s website

Nanny2three, I know but they were adament that he couldnt get it free, explained that it doesnt exceed the value that it was the same as the value of the product and they get their money back for the manufactures coupon, but it didn't matter at all. This is the Cole Harbour Store, we havent had any problems with mic mac store. Was told this was their MANAGERS policy and it was told to them yesterday...again...so uniformed. Came from the Sr supervisor and the Floor Manager. They couldn't even tell the difference between a printed coupon and a manufactures coupon!!! We have spent a lot of money in that store, but no more shopping there at all. We will take our business elsewhere!

Same here, I love those stores. CH and Bayers Lake seem to stink... Bayers has NO products on the shelf!!
