Thread: Saving on gifts!
-
Fri, Jul 15th, 2011, 02:35 PM #1
I love using coupons to help save with everyday stuff like PUREX LAUNDRY DETERGENt
and even groceries. But what makes me even more happy is saving on beauty products because really they can be soooo expensive.
When I was in the states a few months ago I was able to purchase a lot of Physicians Formula make up for very little or nothing at all (with coupons and sales of course).
I was good and saved some of that make up aside ( so hard to resist from opening all the packaging).
Now this gets even better, with so many girlfriends its easy to spend crazy amounts on gifts! So here is what I'm giving one of my friends for her bday. Got the basket and the wrap from Dollerama, making the cost of this gift $3 in total!!!!
With the price of Physicians Formula here in Canada this could easily cost me $30+!!!!

I totally agree! EVERYBODY gets gift baskets from my couponing

It's so fantastic to be able to give generously for birthdays and holidays but not have a financial hurt on you afterwards!

It's lovely.

I like the way you used that dollar store basket. I like those baskets and it is a good way to do up a gift. You are a very nice friend for sharing.
