I finally took a picture of my eggs benedict with smoked salmon and tomato slices on an English muffin. Whenever I've made this in the past the camera is in another room, so I just sit down and eat...lol. The recipe for " Hollandaise sauce for one " is perfect as no one else here likes this kind of breakfast. A disc of Tassimo ( Cafe Crema ) mixed with a pod of Keurig ( Timothy's Espresso ) and I was very satisfied.

sniff, sniff, I just looked back at my delicious and favourite breakfast ( eggs Benny! ) but my new eating rules have curbed some of that decadence.
This morning I made a new batch of chili! 1 lb. of lean ground turkey, 1 onion, a mere cup of cooked mixed beans, diced cooked carrots, cauliflower florets.
Used 50% less salt tomato juice as my " sauce". Used my homemade chili powder mix ( no salt in it ) to get the heat in there.
This will yield at least 5 servings, so that is what I ate for breakfast.

My breakfast this morning ( about a half hour ago ) was a tomato and bacon wrap. I used 15 grams of bacon bits from a salad kit, first melting a slice of Swiss over my Lavash sheet. Also added 15 grams of those crispy fried onions from the kit. 80 grams of sliced tomato goes a long way! No mayo this time and I never missed it. My side dish was 1/2 c. Greek yogurt with blueberries and diced up strawberries. My creamy dreamy extra large mug of coffee rode along and total calories was just 351.
I am not actually " counting " the calories, I usually go with what I crave for a meal, then enter to see where the food options take me everyday.

This happened yet again. " Thought " I was very hungry, sure felt like it. So I warmed up 2.5 oz. of my previously cooked salmon fillets, adding sauteed mushrooms to it, topped with Dijon mustard! A few steamed green beans and carrots. Three stinking bites into the meal ( which was delicious ) I got a full feeling....so I covered it up and placed it back in the fridge for lunch. My frothy coffee was probably all I should have had, it might have squashed what I mistook for actual hunger.

A breakfast wrap with melted Swiss on it, sliced up a hard boiled egg, added sauteed mushrooms and green onions, tomato and a wee smear of mayo, lots of black pepper.
Along with it my Greek yogurt with berries and a coiffee.

I HAD to go out this morning to do a top up shop so I decided to eat breakfast early to stave off the temptations to buy things based on hunger.
It worked, as I stuck right to my grocery list. Still very annoyed at FB though. I never earned a single freaking Moi point there and my OOP was
just under $50.00. The sales were good, but geez, toss me a point or two will ya?? lol.
Oh yeah, I ate a wee dish of the Konjac pasta with meat sauce, steamed cauliflower topped with 30 gr of Tex mex and 1 slice of Swiss.
Mmmm, melty goodness and Greek yogurt with blueberries.

It's been ages since I've made them but I made turkey bacon egg cups. I lined the cup with turkey bacon. I scrambled 9 eggs, milk, added green onion and green pepper. Added gouda cheese and some diced turkey bacon. Baked at 350 for 25 mins
I used up some potatoes and made hashbrowns as well. DH loved them.

I hear you SA-my daughter has to avoid lifting and any strenuous activity for 6 weeks after the rollover so 5 more weeks to go which is a bummer. Definitely no skiing etc. No fun when you are 25 and living in Whistler. She appears to have a hairline fracture of her vertebrae on the scan and the neurosurgeon said it should heal with rest. Anyway this too shall pass and it is best that she is cautious.
