Going to have chicken noodle soup, a crusty roll and cup of tea.
Bbq'd burger from last nights dinner
Didn't get lunch today .. got call from fire department.. asking for my help .. house in community was on fire and power lines was making things more dangerous for fire department.. so I was making phone calls to assist department..before I knew it .. was time go home from work.

Chicken noodle casserole.
it is soup weather! Got the turkey carcasses of the past ( I freeze them till I get a few ) into the water. A few onions to simmer with them. Took quite a while to pick all the bits of meat off those bones once the simmering was done. My doggies enjoyed the cooked livers and kidney bits I diced up for them. Made the dumplings first this time in the big roast pan of clear-ish broth, then I removed them before finishing making the soup with plenty of veggies.
Rice Krispie treats for dessert. ( cannot remember the last time I made those! )
Toasted sesame seed bagel with tuna salad and puffed wheat squares.
