I was out and about today shopping when I popped into Giant Tiger today on 127st and 132ish Ave? I happened to find Crest toothpaste on sale for 1.00, well with the 0.75 off any Crest product that made it 0.25 each! Elizabeth at this location was super awesome!!

Also hit up the SOF at Namao, got 181.22 for 52.13! Stephanie was my Cashier who was also OUTSTANDING!!!

Awesome congrats! Does Save On have a policy on what wording they will accept? Like will they accept "cannot be combined with any other offer"?

crest is also on sale at walmart for 88 cents, with the coupon makes it, 13 cents. and 79 cents at zellers i believe.

glad you found some good cashiers. they are hard to come by

Good to hear you had a good shopping experience!!!! I actually had a problem at SOF with the Free triscuit coupons and the B1G1. The cashier punched in the coupons and gave me 3 boxes of triscuits. She said that they could't give the 3 free boxes because because I didn't buy the first 3. It was almost 11 pm so I left and called customer service. The lady there said that she wasn't aware of any free coupons but that there were so many "crazy coupon people" out there that she wouldn't be surprised. Called the manager in the morning and he rectified the situation. He said that they really don't know what to do when you have free coupons and use it towards a B1G1 deal. He was very nice and helpful tho!!

I personally havent' had a problem with wording yet. However when I read that it's a loaded statement. Cannot be combined with any other offer could mean other coupons, sales, club cards....anyone else?

I did someting similar at Sobeys for yogurt. The cashier called over customer service and c.s complimented me for smart shopping and let it go through.

I do not agree with what the cashier said to you. You paid, not using money, but by using a coupon. The store will get the money for the triscuits.
