My Mom and son are planning a one day shopping trip to the USA - Bellingham from Vancouver here.
How much can they legally bring back without paying duty? There used to be limits.
Where can I find good coupons for them. If they can't bring stuff home I would like to find some food/restaurant ones for them at least.
Anyone know of any killer deals for teen boys clothes and shoes there? I imagine he will only have about a hundred bucks.
Thanks in advance!

I've shopped there once when I was visiting Vancouver and shop over the border here in Ontario regularly.
The actual limit for a single day's visit is $0 with no allowance for liquor or otherwise. However, border guards can apply their discretion if it is worthwhile to attempt to collect any additional taxes or duty from you. In my personal experience, spending less than $200 almost guarantees you will not be asked to pay anything additional.
If you can, buy a US paper or two before you go, as you'll find dining and grocery coupons in inserts every Sunday. In additional try a google search for the stores you might be going to (including the restaurants). Many offer printables, particularly if you sign up for their emails.Kate
