Giant Tiger Coupon Policy

Here is a heads-up on the Giant Tiger coupon policy as given to their employees.

1 - Maufacturers coupons : No stacking is allowed. Must be with a Canadian adress, a CUP code and an expiration date. Number of coupons is not limited.

2 - Internet printable coupons : Accepted, no matter the amount. Must be with a Canadian adress, a CUP code and an expiration date. However, it is suggested to look out if coupons appears fraudulous or to be suspicious if someone has too many Internet coupons (however a number of coupon allowed is not given).

3 - And if a coupon is worth more than the value of a product, you'll get the average on the rest of your transaction. However, they won't give money back.

So a big "YAY!" at Giant Tiger for their great coupon policy. In my area, it is the only store with Wal Mart that reduces the full amount of the coupon when a product is cheaper that the value of the coupon.

Thanks so much for this. For some reason I thought that GT didn't take coupons. It wasn't until I joined SC that I realized they did! Good to know because their prices are already so low.

is their own we can print off that shows its from HO to take in with us. My GT is horrible with coupons, and I would love to take it with me. thanks

HO is in ottawa and the store I shop at is attached to HO so they should know there. I have never tried for overrages but have used printed coupons before.

I had a problem with a transaction on Sunday at GT. So I printed the coupon policy from their website, went back on Monday and talked to the CSM.. She was great and said she would talk to the cashier. Its a great idea to read the store policy and have it with you when you shop. It makes things much easier.
