Im a pretty smart girl but I cant seem to wrap my head around BOGO and using coupons, and I know a lot of cashiers can;t either. So how am I to explain to someone when even *I* dont understand it? FOR EXAMPLE>
Today Walmart has Windex on for $2.00. I want 2...call them A and B.
    I also have 2 coupons, one for $2WUB2 windex, and a BOGO Windx...call them 1 and 2.
So I take 2 bottles to cash.
I put #1 with A and that gives me $2 off because Im buying 2...and I put #2 with B and that gets it to me for free? So Im paying $0 TOTAL for both combined?? 2 bottles x $2=$4.00 - $2.00 (wub) =$2.00- $2 (bogo) =FREE??? Is that right???

can you PM at a store that let you stack coupons? since you are in ontario i would think not

since both the coupons are involving both the products, you would not be able to use both

BTW, where did you find this $2 wub 2 coupon?

At our WM in Nova Scotia, the $2 wub 2 coupon would apply to both of the Windex you are getting ( $1 off each one)
Since we cannot stack here, we would not be allowed to use the BOGO coupon in conjunction with the $2 wub 2 coupon.

If you can't stack, the best you can do is get your Windex for $1.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

    Windex A and Windex B
    Coupon C = $2 Off WUB 2
    Coupon D = BOGO

    Purchase A & B. - Using coupon C ($2 off A&B.)

Using Coupon D would require you to purchase A and you would receive B free.

Since you have already used Coupon C when you purchased A&B (to get $2 off) you would be "stacking" coupons because you have already used a coupon on product A&B (required to purchase together to get $2 off)

Most WM stores do not allow stacking.

    Hope this helps.

You can use the BOGO coupon with a $1 off ONE coupon. The way I explain it to cashiers is: I am buying one to get the other one free (BOGO) and on the one I am buying I am using a cents or dollar off coupon.

    Works 95% of the time.

Ok, see THATS where I was getting messed up..the $2 WUB2...it would work if it was just a regular $ off ONE item coupon...but because its a WUB2 that discount applies half the amount to EACH item...okayokayokay I GET IT now! Im NOT that stupid after all! ;-) Thanks everyone!

technically no, you still shouldnt be able to do that with a "$off1" coupon

since to used the BOGO, you buy 2 products, those 2 products are connected to that BOGO coupon, therefore if you used any other coupon on the product you BOUGHT, that would be stacking coupons.

if it was at Save-on-foods, where you could stack, you would be able to use the BOGO, then apply the $2 from the "$2on2" coupon towards the one you bought, since WUB2 coupons dont specify how to divide the amount.

i hope that made more sense than my first attempt.

MCON, it depends on the store. The Walmart, Giant Tiger and Maxi in my area (where I do 98% of my shopping) permit this "stacking".

Ok i'm getting confused too LOL
so lets say u CAN stack..

From what i think and how i make sense of it is...

    Windex @ $2..
    1x $2 wub2
    1x BOGO

in order to use the $2 u have to BUY 2 and bring another one to get the BOGO
it will not apply to the WUB (because u r not paying for the second one is how i understand the WUB coupons)
I believe i read somewhere that a coupon cannot be applied to the free item when there is a BOGO because u are getting it for free anyways
i THINK that's how it works lol ( i tried it with a buy a cartridge and get a razor for free and had a coupon for the razor.. didn't work)

    so in the end ....
    3x$2 = $6 -$2WUB2 =$4 - BOGO =$2

so after writing all that i don't think it's stacking
because u are using the BOGO to get a free item
and u are getting $2 off on the 2 other bottles
it's not on the same item

but, technically, you are purchasing the windex...because the $1 off doesn't make the item free.

Does the BOGO state specifically that the windex purchased has to be regularly priced in order to get the second one for free?

I am not talking about the $2 off when you buy 2. I am talking a normal say $1 off coupon.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand the confusion...a bogo coupon is applied to product A making product B free....shouldn't that be it because you can't stack any more coupons on top of those? (You're getting a free item with product A, and product B is already free...) man I'm terrible at explaining.
On a side note, this thread looks a lot like a discussion page for rulings in mtg (if anyone here even knows what that is :\ )
