I have no animals just children
... I always try to keep my eye out for free dog/cat food for my friend. She needs the help and since I can sometimes find a free deal might as well pick it up for her, of course I have to pay the taxes BOOOOOO. Anyway picked up a few things at Zellers today. The red bag of purina one for 0.49. Had a 2.50 coupon off any but they would do it. So they took one coupon and used it for 7 bags... I really dont know what they are thinking but at the point of standing there for almost 10 min I just said whatever as long as its free lol.

I did the same today with a bunch of coupons from Iams, Beneful and the Purina Kitten Kits. I got 2 trial size Iams kitten food with my $1.50 coupon to get them for $0.49, used BOGO on the wet Beneful dog food - $2.28 at walmart. And finally I got 2 cans of wet kitten food and 2 bags of Purina Kitten dry food for free.
Since I only have a cat and not a kitten, I took this all down to the Humane Society - nice to know you can use your powers for bargin hunting for good.

WOW!! WTG that's awesome!! I've read on some posts that they wont take the coupon for the purina one trial sizes (I guess it just depends what the cashier is willing to do?!)

I didnt know that. But I noticed I had a few purina one coupons so I decided to try at zellers. Now I know at mylocal WM that it would of been fine and I would of got overage! But its ok I got it for free and it will go to a good home!

I always find Zellers has the trial sizes. I havent seen any at WM. But I go looking anyway lol

Canadian Tire has the Iams trial size for 1.99 and they have $3 coupons inside
