I do know of one, but she only hires military family people... She has made a business helping skilled military spouses who get posted around a lot to find work that is portable, so to speak. PM me if you want more info...
Wins ~ $339.50 for 2008

I don't know of any, but I would guess that the reason for the dearth of available serious and well-paying online jobs like that would have to do with security.
Corporations are extremely serious about their electronic security and most have protected networks that are internal-access only. If you're not on the premises, you aren't going to be in the network. At my work, the computers won't even allow the users to use storage media, including CD's, DVD's, USB drives, etc. You would have to email documents to an outside account to get information out, and those communications are traced and logged.
For someone working in their own home environment, the security breach risk becomes unmanageable - visitors and family would be able to access the computer even if it were passworded, and also documents. If the computer system is also used for personal intents and is allowed to access third-party websites, software and services, the possibility exists for hijacking of the system and external data theft.
I have heard of some employees of government and large corporations working from home, but they are provided with a computer that is only allowed to run corporate software, set up on a closed corporate network and is situated in a securable area of the home, at the corporations' expense. This is often done to accomodate employees with disabilities or executives who wish to work at home as well as the office.
The alternative is to get into some kind of e-commerce startup, a website driven by targeted advertising and clickthroughs, or even something like Second Life, the virtual reality world in which apparently people have made real money with entrepreneurial ventures.
Serious money can be made online, but for the most part, not if you are working for anyone other than yourself. That's what I would suggest might be your best course of action.
