I PM'd you about North Vanc locations not allowing stacking...but just as an FYI....I did call the Park & Tilford, NV location before I went there and confirmed with TWO customer service reps that they DID allow stacking, only to get there and find out that they don't (had a little 'chat' with the 'manager').....so I wouldn't put alot of weight on it even if they said they stack over the telephone....

Just got back from SOF in Madison Centre. The cashier goes through my coupons, takes one, and returns the others with annoyed face. she said "i can only take one of those per product. you can't use all of these if that's what you were thinking."
I tried talking to her about the fact that they allow stacking, and what that means, etc. but her attitude was putting me off, so i simply said "i know that i can use those, would it make it easier if i go to customer service? i'd just go there, thanks" and took off.
Went to customer service and the whole time she was staring at me and the customer service rep with evil eyes. (i don't understand why they get mad at coupon users. i was following rules, i didnt' argue... if u work as a cashier, u should learn to deal with the fact that you are in a people business...)
Anyways, at the customer service, the manager told me that i can stack but since one of the coupon value was 4 while the product is 3.99, i cannot use it. I told him that other stores usually adjust the coupon to be one cent short and he told me that it would be "coupon fraud." I just took that item off and bought other stuff and walked away.
I would've suggested to just add a cent to the product then but i didn't want to suggest anything that he considers to be fraud.
That was the toughest coupon trouble I've ever had! phew! Anybody else had these problems??

hmm well now i know.
that's too bad cuz a lot of products are x.99 and the coupon values are usually .50 or 1, 2, and so on.. :o oh wells, still good to have SOF stack since LD doesn't carry too much food items.
i need to find your cashier! i hope not to ever deal with the same cashier i saw today. :|

I haven't done it yet, but when I was last at SOF Metrotown I was told that they do stack. I originally phoned that location when SOF started stacking and was told no rather rudely, but I asked the CS person probably about ... a month ago now, and she said yes. Very conflicting information.

Went to one of the cahsiers at the self-checkout to ask if they did price matching. She said they do, ask CS to see which ones. So I went to CS and asked and two ladies were both debating. One person said yes they do, the other said only a few stores. They both argued for a bit and finally said no.
The cashier at SOF in New West who helped me wasn't going to let me stack. Then I showed her a coupon policy that I found on SC (the one where OP circled part of it and said "Cashiers read carefully!" And then the lady took it. Nowhere on it says SOF, but there are a few points that mention OWFG (Overweitea Food Group)Last edited by dealbreakers; Wed, Jul 27th, 2011 at 12:45 PM.

I want to rescind the Pricesmart Langley stacking! as they wouldn't let me last night and were rude! first of all the cashier was a condescending teenager with a boss who has poor English comprehension skills. With the confusing wording in there new policy that got handed out this week I'm not surprised!
punctuation dictates tone of voice and Smiles help it along!! just saying

I've decided to 'boycott' SOF and patronize stores with better customer service....just my own decision. I can find some good deals at Thrifty Foods and IGA and they have awesome customer service...they may not allow stacking, but for the few things I wanted to stack at grocery stores, it's not worth the grief SOF has given me...so basically, they've lost my business. I still have LD to stack at, and have stacked a few times with the same CS gal who is great!! After a few months of couponing, I've now focused on shopping at the stores that'll give me the least amount of grief.
