So, can we sign up for the advent train, once we've left fb on this train and when our buddies receive there's?
Nov. 1st, that's cutting it close, my pkg is not saying delivery till the 30th of oct now! Eek!

You can sign up you will stay pending until all requirements of this train has been meet, but you can submit you WL right away even in the pending state it will help Slam and I get organized so we can get buddies out quickly

I had every intention of bringing my buddy's package to the post office Monday morning but, I discovered it is too heavy for me to carry all the way there. Dh has arrived late the past two evenings but, tonight, for sure, we'll be heading to the post office with it. Will send tracking number as soon as we return home.


Totally unrelated now but, I thought I'd gather as much good vibes as possible while I can...dh has an appointment with a cardiac specialist tomorrow to see if he's a good candidate for a defibrillator implant. I'm terrified of the unknown, whichever way it goes. Dh hopes he can get it. He says that way I won't have to follow him around 24/7 with the portable one I plan on getting as soon as I do my first aid and CPR course at the end of this month. I don't know what I'd do without his sense of humour .

Positive vibes and big hugs going out to everyone who needs them

I had an interesting day yesterday. I took the dogs out for a hike, which I do every day, we have found this awesome off leash trail that is through the woods and really beautiful. The dogs love it because they get to run and roll in mud and swim in a beautiful lake. Yesterday I took them and there is one spot where I have to go over a big log and the dogs always go around it. I was half way over and my crazy 115lb dog decided to go under at top speed and took me out! I came down like a ton of bricks right on my A@@ I knew right away I had done some damage to my knee and ankle but still had 45mins of hiking to get back to the car I went to the hospital and I have torn two muscles in my calf and am couch bound for at least the next few days. But on the plus side I'm on some pretty good drugs
