Decided to stop by SDM today to pick up some items and redeem some points. I bought:
Bounty $5.99
Flour $4.99
Sugar $2.49
4 Boxes of tissue $2.36
Oatmeal $1.99
Cheerios $1.99
Compost bags $4.99
2 International Delight cream $1.99
Arm & Hammer Spinbrush $11.99 (ridiculous price - Target sells these for $6.99)
Eggs $1.99
3 Cases of water $4.00
Total came to $55.13 and I redeemed 25,000 points so OOP $5.13.
I also earned 2860 points today.
When I came home, hubby says "wow" you got all this for $50? I said no I got all this for $5.13 and I didn't even use any coupons! It felt so good to be able to come home with lots of stuff for so little.

I remember when I first started couponing (and using Optimum points) my DH would be floored when I came home with stuff!!
Now all I hear is "Uh huh..."!!
Not that he doesn't care, he's just used to it.
We should all trick them sometime and say, "Look honey, I spent $439.00 on this!" just to see what the reaction would be!! lol
