Ok I am starting t panic.. I have about 110000 points and i want to save up for something good, but I am thinking of cashing out in case it ends up like the pink oinker...yikes!!

what are the stars for?

The Stars are part of your "Rep Power" (above the little green squares at left). I believe that once you get a Rep Power of 100 you receive a star, and for every 100 after you get another star.

i was told that you need 5 dark green, 5 light green and 5 yellow posts then u get a star.

but i donno anymore than that. i was surprised as everyone else when the damn thing showed up.

but i ain't giving it back.

Thats probally true but it goes along with the rep power # above the green bars

I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of action over at P&P.. I have found that sometimes when a rash of new prizes comes up or it seems like something should be happening and isn't (The June word hunt for example) they fall a bit behind. Especially on weekly words. They really only have 3 girls over there at SheKnows that run the whole P&P thing, it is a lot on the shoulders of 3 people, only one of which is a programmer.

I have a lot of faith in them.. they really are a nice lot, it is just that they all have way too much work on their plates and not enough help.

The piggy site however... I still get mad when I think about it. I purged all my links to it from my bookmarks with a very angry finger!

Lately, that sentence sounds like an oxymoron . . masterminds and SheKnows!

Now alot of us are not 100% on when you get points and for what when it comes to the contests. They are not consistant. Some contests that people entered and are suposed to get points for entering have taken up to a year to show on their account. If you read through the thread you will see. But it seems to be that you get points for voting and the entry person gets points for the comments. Read the rules etc of each contest as they change. ( they word it so strangly that sometimes its still hard to understand) LOL!

I thought it meant the person who's story it is getting the comment gets the points. but whoknows?

Things must be getting confusing over at the P&P headquarters because they sent me TWO of the same prize for the price of one!!!!
SCORE......... well sort of...... I don't really need two of the same DVD but I'm thinking I'll give the 2nd one to my uncle who also has back problems. (DVD on backpain management).
