I live in Newfoundland and the blue transparent recycling bags are obnoxiously expensive. I'm a student and artist and my dad runs his accountant practice from our house. A lot of paper is wasted in our house. In addition the local recycling places have quit taking paper, because of the new curb side pick up. My father refuses to buy them because of the price and I'm flat broke...all I get is GST/HST checks and random money from family members. Anyone know of any nation wide coupons? We only need maximum 15 bags.

"They" say children are the future and as a university student I'm still the future ; I want to recycle. I already bring in my other recycling and I need to get rid of all of this paper.

Clear or blue here too. I use clear leaf bags...bigger...use less bags to recycle more!

Oh, my bad! I didn't know they were blue transparent!

Out here in BC they're solid blue. I think it's a requirement. We have to buy certain ones. And for people who need more than one bag, they have to get big blue BINS! (like those big garbage bins with a lid)

Do they only pick up what is in the bags? Here they prefer the bags, but will still pick up a cardboard box full of paper at the curb (or even empty the blue plastic boxes you can get at Walmart if they are in a good mood).
