We don't have a no frills in Windsor that I know of, though I think there is a new one, in an area I am not in very much, but now working in the county, and coming home through Amherstburg (small town, 25 minutes out of Windsor), stopped in to pick up some groceries.
Holy Moly, are they inexpensive! I don't know if was just particularily the flyer this week, but I did well. Pasta for 30 cents (catelli coupon), pineapple for 30 cents or so (dole websaver coupon), del monte canned corn for 40 cents (coupons for no salt veggies), and some tear pads of coupons that I haven't seen here, or have been out of while the store (smuckers books (took 2), black diamond cheese slices (I haven't seem these before - took 3- loads of these), etc. Several nice clearance deals on vegatables, strawberries, snow peas, etc, that were perfectly fine.
Few other things, but nice ! I'll stop periodically do a coupon shop, and pick up a few things. There prices are quite good, but I don't think I can price match them at the superstore, if we don't have one in the same city, so I'll stop on my way home. Is it more of a smaller town/city store?
And, the cashier was awesome with my coupons. Thorough, but friendly, and quick to move through twenty dollars in coupons

You would have to ask RCSS if they would price match. Maybe they will, but there is nothing wrong with going into NF and checking it out and getting coupons.

A little. A lot of time I find it hard to look past that dirty dingy atmospher. I just PM them from any other store. A lot of people around me shop at No Frills but I find it hard to look past the dirty carts, dark dim lighted stores and dirty floors. I know "no frills" means that business operates on the principle that by removing luxurious additions, customers may be offered lower prices. But I am absolutely confident I can still save a lot of money by PMing, couponing and rebates and still shop in a better environment. . I know I know that a major percentage of people on this forum will also disagree with me but I am just sharing my opinion.
coming back to your experience you did an excellent job OP combining good deals with coupons. WTG

That is great, always discovering something new is great. Our No Frills as well is at the other end of town and the other in a neighbouring town and never get to go but have been a few times and it is lovely. But we can still take advantage of their advertised deals atleast and they are great for that. You would be surprised by asking what your local stores might just PM. It will be a nicefor you to have a little stop to pick-up coupons and deals the odd time. I love No Frills too. Thanks for sharing.
We have a few places here too with less than nice conditions like Basics and PM is

I don't know what others are like, but this one was clean, and didn't seem dingy. But, nothing would shock me after my two local Food basics which are nasty. I stopped shopping there partially because of that, and just PM to RCSS.

You are right.
Some Food Basics are not too nice.
Some No Frills are not too nice.
Some No Frills cashiers are very good.
Some Shoppers cashiers are very good.
It depends
on the location
on the staff
If one is not good we sometimes can go to another.
They are not all bad or all good.

Welcome to shopping @ NF.They're pretty good overall but I just find that certain sale items tend to sell out quickly (in bigger cities especially) so you have to go ASAP since they may not get another shipment in & doubt they offer rain check( never asked b4) .Of course you can PM using your smart phone too (except @ Target -they want you to have the physical flyer...ugh..so backwards).Enjoy the hidden gem!

No frills is amazing! They often have the 50 percent off clearance items hidden in the aisles too!

I love No Frills. They are building one in Windsor, on Wyandotte Street East (the old Bingo Hall).
