I have something i need to share .... Or rather vent ....
Remember that plaster house i was working on ... Well I worked an entire afternoon and two entire evenings ... All I had left to do was get a tiny little paintbrush (mine was small .. But not small enough ) to do touch ups and finish the wood trimming.. Then I was done.
Well this morning, as every morning I let DD watch some cartoons a bit while I stayed in bed a touch longer
Well I woke up to this .... Oh and mind you she actually put away the paint and cleaned the paintbrushes in the process of ruining my hard work...

Its beautiful!

Which I knew would be my approximate shipping cost when I signed both Kelsey & I up! Us folks here when shipping East also have to pay HST as well as GST and I was well aware that I might have to do that. All is good!!!!!

I with you Norma I buy what I want and worry about the shipping later, this time I had a very neat experience. Mitch had to do most off my shopping so it was funny to watch him buy stuff for my big and little buddy, no concept of budget he was like a little kid let out to play. He would text me pictures and I must say big buddy I LMAO at your gag gift.

So today my beautiful amazing cowgirl hand delivered my pkg (which is really for Mitch) to my husband I have not had a chance to see it but from what I know of our wonderful cowgirl it will be spectacular. Hun I must apologize for him scaring you he thinks he's funny, he's really not. Lol

i also received you letter and I will text you tonight when things settle down. But know you touched my heart with your words you are truly a blessing in my life. It is amazing the way things work out to place the people you need in your path

I saw that NMR had mailed her buddies pkg already so off I ran to mail mine - used my newly minted venture one card and saved 5%, mailed my mums' xmas pkg too at the same time and a few other errands as I am being invaded tomorrow with inlaws(outlaws :D ) and wanted to clear off the island in the kitchen of some of my to-do's. STILL haven't cleared my desk though - procrastination running rampant, and now off with my glass of chocolat rouge to watch a pvr'd show on the telly night!

Yes, I am a Venture One customer but that is the only discount I get. We get discounts on retail products but not anything to do with postage as employees of Canada Post.

Ack so I feel so far behind with my package, still have to get 1 more item, wrap everything this weekend & find a box. Probably won't mail until Tuesday or Wednesday.

On a positive note I have unpacked & put away everything from our trips. I got all my xmas gifts bought so far in 2 big ikea bags already to take to my parents tomorrow to wrap (while they watch DD).
Decided I'm going to purge our apartment while hubby is away. Going to get a bunch of big Rubbermaid totes to hide some of hubby crap until he can move it properly & the stuff I know he won't notice missing is going out to goodwill/garbage.

as a mother of a 3 yr old, I totally understand why you got mad, I would have done the same. My daughter is a thinker (sometimes after the fact) so when I get mad at her & yell then later I feel bad, I always talk to her, apologze & explain why I was mad. hope that mad sense. dont feel guilty, we all have these moments.

The good thing about kids, they think we are awesome and only remember the good stuff.

my mushy gushy mommy story I had my 16 and 14 year old visit me today and we were talking about when my boy was young and what a brat he was we had to lay with him while he played with our earlobe till he fell asleep. This went on until he was 4. It seemed like such a pain then, but looking at this 6'4 kid I thought tonight I give anything to have one more night like that.
