Snow day here, but I drove kiddo in to daycare any way lol. Making it out of the driveway was the hardest part. The rest was slow but not too bad. Hopefully my driveway is cleared by the time I get home, it should be as the snow is supposed to stop by noon or so, they should have a chance to clear it all by 4 I would think. Better any way! Jackson was Thrilled with all the snow, he is so excited. Me, not so much. Why!!!!! Why can't I live in Florida or Arizona? Or Hawaii. Ah well.

So last week my dad got a bunch of blood work done and today we go to the specialist to see the results as I said before his protein is too high which isn't good because it means his organs may shut down, also his blood pressure has been VERY low and causing him to be dizzy. He was going to come to Keswick himself but my mom wouldn't let him lol this reminded me if them being an old married couple bickering back and fourth....finally my mom said I am driving you end of discussion. I don't blame her it is a 2 hour drive and if something happen she would never forgive herself. So any positive thoughts would be awesome thanks

I cannot imagine having to walk Jackson to school. Technically I could but in weather like this I'd still be trying to get him there I'm sure!

Packages all look fantastic! I can't believe the 1st is Sunday - not that I'm complaining bc we get to start opening presents!!

I am still trying to shake this nasty flu / cold thing! I was off work Thursday and then Monday too - I think I'm on the road to recovery *fingers crossed*

We are heading to the US tomorrow just for the day! I'm super excited to load up on junk food and random treats! I found a grocery store that has chicken boobs on for $1.99/lb has anyone had experience going down for the day and bringing back "real" groceries? DH is terrified that we will stock up on meat and get it confiscated at the border!

Ive never attempted cross border shopping, but really want to plan a coupon shop in maybe Buffalo next summer...wanna plan it LQ?

I can't wait until Sunday too!

Anyone notice how quiet HeatherWake is? I hope it's because he is busy and not because she is off playing with her presents that she wasn't supposed to open yet!

I've never had any issues with bringing up real groceries. I haven't bought tons and tons but generally speaking they won't confisgate, they might tax if it's an excessive amount. look it up online at what you can and cannot bring but I've brought milk and chicken and stuff like that back.

So heres a copy of something i just posted in the tea room... i need you ladies advices

DF has this annoying habit of stuffing so much garbage into his pockets.. then he comes home at night and dumps it all over tables and desks.. the other night, I saw him do it and I was like really ?? Just put it in the garbage.. and he's like : well i don't know what it is ( ... uh ... look !?!?!)
So this morning i'm cleaning and I'm picking up his nighttable. and lo and behold.. there's the receipt for my birthday present.. and since it's jewelry, there's a picture on it Not only do I know what it is now.. but I know he got something that doesn't match the rest of my jewelry.. i have all white gold engagement ring, other ring, medicalert bracelet.. and he got yellow gold little hoop earrings.
My bday is dec 3.. what would you do ?
