Yay, more time to get a wish list together Lately, I am glad when things don't get done immediatley. Guy at Sears last week was surprised when I was happy when he said it would three weeks before our new appliances could be delivered, because back-ordered with big sale. Timing was perfect for me, but he doesn't get that kind of reaction often.

I think I might give this a try. I've never done a package train before but I've been stalking a few threads and they look super fun. I don't have any kind of wishlist and I'm not even sure where to start. I'm heading to visit my parents this weekend so if the boarding is still open by Sunday I will board(pending approval) and try to get a wishlist together.

they are super fun! I participated in my first one in the spring, (the book exchange) and it was great. I too was worried about the wish list part, but I saw some of the examples of wish list items and some people in the other package train thread that was running at same time shared their wish lists, and those gave me great ideas.

But package trains are slightly addictive so it likely won't be your last one.

oh my god.... really? Venuila!!!! I decided not to ride the Advent train because of too much time commitment with 25 wrapped gifts, etc. and I'm moving at the end of this month and officially moving into the new house on Nov 11th... I love to cook and now have my own gourmet kitchen and really want to join this... BUT BUT BUT.... gotta think about it... tough decisions to make. This seems like something I can do. Will be back to see and decide....

Ok, I definitely would like to board this train. Cant wait to shop for my buddy, woohoo! My package is in transit on the "Deck the Halls" train...I'll let you know as soon as it arrives at its destination.
