Similar company, but completely different work. A lot of training to do. But the extra time is worth it. Walked home, bought groceries, made dinner, ate dinner...and now it's only 7 p.m.!

We have cleaned out FOUR full van loads to charity this year! Everything from baby items, toys, books, clothes, bedding, small appliances, electronics, etc.
I was putting stuff on kijiji but it was way too time-consuming. I was able to make $150 though and some of our bigger items are still on but they've been on for a few weeks now with no interest.
I decided to give up on kijiji and just start purging because we had so much to do and not much time. We just started loading up the van and dropping it off to charity. DH is taking load #4 today and I'm thinking we will have at least 1 more load.
So far we've purged the kids rooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry/storage room and the den. I'm going to tackle the office this week.
Oh and I have 6 big boxes put aside for SIL.
Feels so great to get rid of clutter that hasn't been used for years. :)
My brag of the week last week, went to a Steel Panther concert with my friend Lisa, she won tix to see the concert, and she bought two drinks, one coke for her, and 7- Up for me. Retained the cups for ice so we drank melted ice from the cups and great show at the Commodore Room DT, very good, funny, salty language kinda band that I won't repeat here. :top:
got 3.00 rebate in mail -total this week 48.00 from the 2 rebate and checkout51

@sdm clearance for $1 expiry Feb 12 - bought home 6 (for my 4 yr old niece)
We all checked our food pile and found many things we are not interested in having anymore( 90 percent have nice expiry and 10 percent already expired) , dropped in food drive bin which have good expiry dates.
My parents came for a visit today. I was able to give them 10 bags of groceries from my stockpile! It feels so great to give back to the best parents in the world! They deserve so much more.
My son's first cookbook is going into it's second printing!!
The book is called "Smoke, Bacon and Booze" I think that it appeals to most men (and a lot of women too!)
