I bought a bikini today...for the first time ever.

Large rear-ended celebrities like Jlo, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce have inspired me. So many pictures of themselves with the bums prominently featured. If they can love their curves, I can too right? Now I just have to get the courage to wear it lol.

Spent all day shopping with DD trying to find a good snowsuit.
Went to WM and they were a good price but had white around the cuffs. Ya. that would be brown in a day. paaass.
Tried Bonnie Toggs, 2 Sears, 2 Targets, Children's Place. All were ugly patterns, light coloured fabric, or simply had white on them!
White + six year old + recess = BAD
And I was not prepared for the prices! $75- $175!!!
Now that she's a size 7, bumps her up to more expensive sizing, I guess.
I came home empty handed and was prepared to make a trip to the states tomorrow as a last resort. Was browsing sites of kohls, target, jcpenny, sears when I decided to check sears.ca.
Well, I found a suit that I did see in the store but was only in size 4. It was $104.99, reg $149.99. But I remembered that SC is awesome and I knew there were online codes to make this deal better. Found the code for $20 off WUS $100.
New total was $84.99, after tax and shipping was $93.
    So happy with my purchase!

ETA: and 2% cash back from ebates

I take advantage of SDM 20x and get 16000 WUS $60 on cosmetic email coupon. Both offered worked and my OOP $65 got over 27000 optimum points which equals to $60 on Bonus Redemption day. Almost free cosmetic.

Too bad coupon said 1 per customer otherwise I would rinse and repeat.

I received my First Aid CPR/AED certification today. Ok, ok, it cost me 125$ but, the chance to pay-it-forward one day would be priceless .

My sons quick thinking, CPR/AED and firefighting skills came to good use last night. Him and his buddy were driving home to Edmonton and the car in front of them hit a HUGE moose that had run out onto the road. The impact took the roof right off of the car. My son had just finished his CPR training for work last week! He knew exactly what to do. My son gave the driver of the car the coat he was wearing and held his head steady until paramedics could arrive.

My son said the driver and his passenger were extremely lucky because if that moose would have landed on their car both occupants would have died instantly. The moose was killed on impact.

I wish wild animals weren't so stupid and didn't try to cross the road when cars were zooming by.

I'm proud of my son for being able to help someone with his training.

    Thank You!
Whenever my kids went fof trick or treating and if they get any little toys like playdoh, teeth etc they would be super excited and even used to spend hours with them, then when I was searching my coupon binder I found this $5 off $10 off mattel exp Oct30 rather than wasting the coupon this would be fun.

Mine is almost two weeks old, but I'm am still super excited about it, so will share here.

    We are doing kitchen renos.

Found out late about the Sears Black Friday, Canadian Edition sale. We need new appliances, so checked out sears.ca and omg! they had exactly what I wanted. An induction range in white (we don't like stainless appliances), and it was $700 off!

Last year when we were looking, induction ranges were all $2,500+ and only available in stainless. So I gave up the dream of getting an induction range, as that was way out of the budget. This one was on for $1199! So we bought it, and a dishwasher, which was $250 off.

Then at the checkout, I saw the flyer. It was adverstizing a great sale on Lagostina cookware. We need new cookware for the new range, as only pots and pans that have iron in them work with induction (so stainless works, but not aluminium pans). We were at the Sears appliance store, so hurried over to regular Sears (it was already 8 pm, on second last day of sale), and checked out the cookware. Bought a 12 piece Lagostina set that works with induction stoves for $175! And then added two Lagostina non-stick pans in stainless, for $30. I never thought I would buy a full new set, let alone Lagostina. We have been using stuff that has been acquired over the years, some of which is 20 to 30 years old.

The grand total, taxes in, for an induction range (with convection oven), a dishwasher, and the pots and pans, came in $400 below the budget we had set for replacing our range and dishwasher!
