May Ford will be making an announcement at City Hall today
Not sure of the time but here is a link to watch http://ca.news.yahoo.com/rob-ford/
I don't think "I was drunk" is a good excuse.
For his sake and for his family's sake, he needs to either resign or take a leave of absence and get himself better. He clearly has an issue with alcohol. You can't get so drunk that you can't remember that you smoked crack and not have an issue with a substance.
I know everyone has a past and we shouldn't judge them in the present but Ford needs to step down and get help. He's got nobody and nothing to blame for his bad judgement but himself. He made his choice now he must accept responsibility for his actions and do what's best for his city and people. Especially with the world now watching and reacting there's only one clear choice and he must step aside. Even the news anchor on cnn is confused as to why ford is still in office. But anyways that's my two cents.
It is now being reported that a staffer in Ford's office hired a hacker to break into an online account

Reports are that he won't resign but will get help. Of course this presser will probably happen when I'm on the train, just like the last announcement happened when I was heading out for lunch.
oh well...that's alright then....I'm sooooo gonna need that excuse sometime...didn't ask the correct questions...check.Quote:
But Mr Ford maintained to reporters that when he previously denied using the drug: "I wasn't lying. You didn't ask the correct questions."
Anyone else get the feeling we were all just %^&&*$% in the rear lol
god bless Toronto LMAO
.
From polls of Toronto residents it seems 44% say they will vote for him again........That's a better approval rating than Obama has
I guess, then, that would be an example of voters getting exactly what they deserve. The whole Rob Ford scenario is absolutely mind-boggling. The fact that he represents Toronto to the rest of the country (and the world) must be embarrassing to thinking citizens. Although I will admit that British Columbians see the more sensational news about him, I have to say that he appears to me to be a "buffoon". It is always sad and painful to see someone become a laughing-stock. This man needs professional help to overcome his addictions to drugs, power and/or whatever else it is that is controlling his life.
