So I went out shopping today at Zellers. I found the aspirin trial packs. I was soo excited.

I bought 10 @ 1.97 = $40 overage, as the stores policy is not to pay out overage this is what I bought.
3 dove deoderants $3.99 - $1 coupon = $2.99 each
2 Olay body wash $4.99 - $1,50 coupon = $3.49each
12 (2PKS of DOVE bar SOAP assorted) $1.49 each sale price
I had to bribe one of my son's so I bought him pokemon's of $5.99 and a present for the one I left at home with his uncle and triplets (a new car from the movie cars 2) $6.99
TOTAL 72.56
TAX: 9.43
TOTAL W TAX: 81.99
VENDOR COUPONS : 66.00
OOP 15.99
(It would have been a zero balance if not for the $13 of toys. but everyone was happy
the woman was so excited and nice to be helping me she insisted I should TEACH others how to coupon and where to get them. LOLOL the guy behind me said, I am enjoying this, I think I need to talk to my wife.
This weekend I also scored about $75 of Dog Food at RCSS in Mississauga. They were the Purina Trial packs (4bags for 1$) with my $2.50 off ALLLL FREEEE... I don't have a dog here in Canada but my husband says he is getting one for us in Africa and if he decides not to CAUSE he is scared of dogs
my brother and the local animal shelter will be happy..
ON A BAD NOTE: I tried to use my OLAY coupon and my poly to go COUPONS at a DOLLARAMA on Dundas and Erin Mills were I never had problems before. Now they are insisting they will not accept ANY coupons that are over the price of the product. TOO bad... I refused to buy what I was buying because of that. I am now going to wait for the dollarama coupon policy before bothering. so Today has turned my couponing LUCK back UP

I was going to go tomorrow to Zellers and stock up on Dove and Ax. I just realized the sale was only for 3 days.

I wasn't aware that Zellers does overage towards the rest of your purchase.

i think its kinda crazy that people will walk away from there entire order at a store just because a cashier does not accept 1 coupon. spending say 1 hr shopping and then all that time gets wasted over 1 coupon. seems kinda silly to me
