So we decided last minute to come for the weekend to London for an appointment our son has on Tuesday. We are thinking about taking our boys 3 and 5 to East Park tomorrow, any other good places to go? I would rather not spend an arm and leg. Thanks

Children's Museum is good for kids that age. Not too expensive either

Perfect thank you. By the time we checked in today, everything was closed, so they just swam at the hotel!

I agree with Pouf, STory Book Gardens is great. I think it was a total of 20 or 25 for 2 adults 2 kids, and even their food prices are reasonable, great Splash pad, lots to do.
They do have some small rides, for extra, but lots to do without spending much money! There is a park right beside it, so brinding a cooler with you and leaving to unwind for a bit and coming back in is no biggie. We brought our cooller in.

Perfect good to know. We took the boys to EastPark, biggest waste of money. We didn't realize they didn't have a pool, and they charged me full price even though I can't walk so can't go down slides.

Wish I had of saw this tread in time to warn you about East Park. Unless you are going on the slides it just isn't a good value. BUT...if you are looking for indoor the Rainbow has $4 matinee movies and the Boys and Girls club has afternoon drop in for their activities for $5. The Children's Museum is awesome for the younger kids. We sometimes head to the splashpad at Harris Park, have a lunch and then do a Matinee...cheap day, a lot of fun too

Well we just came home today. We did the children's museum, and the hotel gave us a coupon for the kids to get in free so it was $15 for all of us, they liked it, they would have liked to stay longer but we had to get our little guy to his doc appt, the whole reason for the stay. Were going to take them to Story book gardens but it was raining

I think we may do a London weekend again. We stayed at the Delta Armories, it was really nice, has a nice indoor pool and the staff were great with both our boys, but even moreso with our autistic son. Great hotel!
