Computer problems question

My portable computer who is a Getaway brand and have 3 years old of use ...well since yesterday morning I dont know what my father has done(does he spit something like coffee in the touch)...??? dont work well,some touchs are not writhing some are writhing 2 time or in the left instead of right when we writhe a sentence,I dont know what is the problem.So If someone in here is tech savy or know some people who are .or some advices sites,it would be sooooo awesome to help me find the clue and solutions of this .....Because I need my computer for infos,coupons writhing,e-mail and everyday.And It is not in my Budget to purchase another one(very limited one those time)
So thank you in advances for all yours tips,advices and ect...

If you have a laptop with a touchpad. There is usually a button near the touchpad to turnoff the touchpad. If the touch pad is on and you are typing, if you are not careful your hand or wrist may touch the pad and your typing does not take. To test - type with one finger and don't let your hand touch the keyboard.

The touchpad eventually wears out from normal use....then it either responds intermittently, causes the mouse icon to jump around, etc. Purchase a wireless (and wired) mouse from TheSource, etc and then disable to touchpad.

either replace the keyboard and touchpad. you can normally order from ebay or get a keyboard and mouse. if you want to go all out get a monitor and just stick the laptop behind it.
