Have you ever experienced that awful sick feeling of having a high-priced coupon expire? (well, being fairly new I consider it to be a high-priced one)

I just realized my Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer coupon - $5.00 off - expired on the 1st. I thought it expired on the 8th!! I felt sick to my stomach when I pulled it out this morning to use. I'm so peeved at myself that I can't even think about throwing the darn thing away yet LOL!!

Anyway, lesson learned I guess.......WATCH THOSE DATES!!

I had that happen with a few and it feels like you just flushed some money down the loo.

Awww, I had to throw away a $5wub3 Gillette too It was sad.

And it is hard to throw away expired coupons even if I don't use them. I think this time when I go shopping and it's close to the expiry and no one wants to trade for them I'm simply just going to leave them by the product and hope someone finds them and enjoys them instead of throwing them away.

Yeah, I spent some time reorganizing the binder last night. I had lots of expiries. Only a couple hurt. I did zip to SDM today to use my last $3wub2 old spice. Glad I did because I found other deals while I was there. Scopped a box of hair dye that scanned wrong and OFF Skintastic was on clearance from 9.99 to 4.99. Got 2 and used $5wub2. I like being a coupon fairy also. I like checking the person behind me in line at the til, see whats in their cart that I have a coupon for. Maybe it makes up for holding up the line.

I can't toss coupons. I have to go around stores putting them on shelves and hope each one gets noticed. I had expired ones come in the mail after the strike and it was sad.

I just started and I haven't really gotten myself quite organized. I'm looking forwards to getting a binder so I can actually see the coupons laid out. I think I'll have them in each section by expiry...but I guess I'll have to see how that works as alphabetically might be easier.

I'm waiting for the binder I want to go on sale, Staples has the exact one I want, but it's $18.99 and Aug 11th is 25% off so I'm waiting until then

I've been dropping coupons here and there too! Lots I don't need and I haven't gotten into trading yet although I'd really like to start with that soon. Just looks like a lot of work setting it up LOL!

    Trading is SO much fun!!

When I first started I laid it out by where I got them which was AWESOME for me, because I could keep them separated easily (save, gocoupons, tearpad, etc)

Then, when I actually started trading I realized, woah this is kinda tough to wade through. So I took about 10 minutes and laid all my coupons into piles of very broad categories (food, health, beauty, etc) alphabetically.

From there, I listed them all alphabetically with Brand, where I got them, UPC code and expiry date. The whole list took me about 2 hours. Now I just add them daily as I get coupons and trade coupons and it doesn't take long at all. I also keep a list of trades I am doing so I put what I'm sending out in that list. If I get the same coupon again I can just pull it from that list and put it back easy and just change the expiry date.

For keeping the actual trade coupons themselves, right now I have envies for each category and I paperclip them together alphabetically. I will need to get a box like Giving-Small has I think though.

aww! Yes I hate when that happens too! I dread the end of the month when I have to look through my binder for all the insert ones that expired on the last day of the month!!!

I was at walmart the other day and someone put some coupons on the shelves!! That made my day! I used 2 of them and left the other few that I saw! YAY Coupon fairies!
