Oh wow oh wow!! My package was amazing!! I got two new tea towels, icing bag ties, cake release, cupcake decorating kit, Christmas potholes and oven mitt . I also got glade apple cinnamon melts. Yum! Two chocolate peppermint aero bars, mixed pack of hot chocolate, angel food cake mix and the two best Christmas albums EVER!!! So excited!!! How did you know I wanted these two? Amazing!!! And a gorgeous handmade christmas card. Absolutely freaking awesomeness! ! Thank you so much francine1985!!

Cab, sorry you missed and I'm really sorry the rules have changed so much. In a perfect world, everyone would read, understand and actually follow the rules. Unfortunately, the past 2 years, that did not happen. People either don't bother even mailing a package, or feel rules are for everyone else and not them so they mail when and how they want.

I too agree, that a long list of rule is a real turnoff, but what's even worse is people being hurt because someone has the (excuse me) BALLS to just take, take, take and think nothing of hurting others.

No I understand people not sending anything which is sad. I guess my thing was if the minimum is $10 does it matter where it comes from. If I send 10 items at $1.00 each or 2-3 items at $10. (but that's never me anyway since I sometimes go crazy lol) I'm always looking at all the people receiving their packages hopeful that everyone says they got theirs. I also didn't get why it was moved from the official exchanges form to the trains forum(but that could have something with you calling it a train instead of SC official xmas exchange ha,)

(ps, I didn't miss out because of the new rules just never saw the thread because I'm blind ok lol)

It is perfect!! ...I got my most wished for item...gloves with the sticky things so I can use my phone while I walk to work!!

I am so glad you like everything! I had a lot of fun buying things for it. The reusable bag was more for packing material so that everything wouldn't get knocked around. It is a little on the small side but since you had it on your list, I thought I would include it. I hope your daughter has fun with the craft materials. Merry Christmas!

I'm so glad you liked your gifts. Dh and Ds1 actually made the card together. It took about 2 hours but they were having lots of fun working together. We all had a great time shopping for you. And ds2 picked out your mug. (18 months old but he grabbed it off the shelf going by lol)

As far as the dollar store stuff, people were complaining that they sent thoughtful packages and got the minimum # of items from the dollarstore back, it was one of the biggest complaints about trains when we asked people how we should change them. It just seemed like a waste of money to spend $12-30 to mail $6-10 worth of items.

There isn't much we can do, people wanted us to be stricter, we gave neutrals and negs out and people complain. We changed the rules after pages and pages of conversation and people still don't like them. These trains are just not worth the hassle

I know and I am one that usually just goes along with whatever. I am not a complainer by any means. I usually get all my stuff for any exchanges at walmart. sorry if I sounded like a whiny b***h lol.
