I just came back from Shoppers an bought 4 bottles and used 4 coupons. The girl at the checkout was new and kept saying "I'm sorry I have to read to make sure. We get in trouble if not". I also just looked at my extra I didn't use and it doesn't say 1 per person or anything like that. So I'm sure it was just that cranky cashier's rules.

Thanks! I didn't remember seeing anything that said that. I avoid this cashier and refuse to go to her. This was actually one of the easier times having to deal with her.

off topic of Purex, but on topic of SDM - I went last night to get some soup and use up my $.50 coupons - and I had a coupon for $8 off Any Glade plug in kit or refill and picked up one that was $7.99 - she scanned it ans said "oh nice - your going to get it for just $.49 - " I said it was $7.99 on the shelf, so she checked and sure enough it was suppose to be $7.99 - so she looked at me and said "Wow - your coupon is going to make that free" I said "actually - SCOP will!!" lol!! I got the glade plug in and my coupon back all for free!! Sweet candy!!

Kind of off topic, but I went to SDM today and bought Baby Soft Purex with my coupon but when I got home realized it wasn't an HE detergent. Can I go back tomorrow and exchange it for an HE one or will I get hassled?

Nope. I had no problem. Cashier marked the coupon to 2.99 and I walked away paying $0.39 for my bottle of Purex.

HOWEVER, I didn't realize that the Baby Soft Purex that I bought is not HE compatible. Can I exchange it for an HE compatible one tomorrow or will I get some flack?

Am I the only one this problem. They said they could not mark down to 2.99 because the coupons was for 3.00

For those of you having problems with SDM not allowing you to use a coupon worth more than the item purchased...

Just bring a copy of SDM's coupon policy.

Yes, I believe all/most of the Purex bottles are usable in HE Washers. Mine were.

I find shoppers some times annoying to deal with so I choose to PM at zellers they are great Got four bottles and had an extra coupon...and lord KNOWS I don't need any laundry detergent...I saw a lady and her husband also PM some things from other stores and when I walked out we were parked beside them. I walked over and offered them my Purex coupon for free detergent...and they said no...? Owell I guess they don't liek free... But at least I tried lol!!!
