I stumbled upon this great shop.ca and ebates offer late at night Friday at 11:30pm. I wasn't going to shop as I didn't really have money to do so, nor really felt like it until I read that post saying how much people were saving. It was late but I got to shopping.
and I still got some great deals:
got a second stage Evenflo car seat
steak knife set
miracle blade knife set
waffle maker
crockpot programmable
hugo boss cologne
wiper blades
did a few different transactions too and if I felt more up to shopping may have done better too, but still a very great deal for everything.
total retail price: 386.55
after rebates, gift cards offers from Shop.ca and websaver, promo codes etc will be OOP $99.21 (if my hubby had a paypal acct it would have 25.00 less! plus if I had waited a bit longer he could have used a 15.00 gc promo code too)
now where to find to the money to pay the cable bill (lol)This thread is currently associated with: WebsaverThe most serious gardening I do would seem very strange to an onlooker, for it involves hours of walking round in circles, apparently doing nothing." --Helen Dillon

For the nervous first time online shopper paypal and a prepaid credit card are great to use.

I prefer to shop online. I have had a few issues such as a parcel gone missing but the company was very helpful. I have shopped with Shop.ca several times. I had to do a return on 2 products and accidentally switched the return labels and put them on the wrong products so that they were both returned to the wrong company. I called shop.ca and explained what happened and they said don't worry about it they would refund my money and THEY would worry about getting the products back to the correct outlets!
That was amazing!
I always seem to have to contact ebates canada though because no matter what how many times I click on a company through ebates it never shows up in my cash pending. They have to manually deposit it for me. A bit of a pain in the behind but it's worth it for free money!
