Reputation:
Giving rep is another way for members to show appreciation to posts fellow SC users create.
To GIVE rep:
Press the reputation button that is located on every post created.
Another little box will pop up.
And then you've given rep!
__________________________________________________ ______
To VIEW rep others have given you:
Go to your UserCP
Scroll down and you'll see the list of posts and comments others have given you.
__________________________________________________ _______
Users rep "power" depends on the amount of reputation others have given them.
As you can see by that last image... at this time my rep points sit at 72013.
I have a rep power of 813 at this stage in the game.
- A green rep means positive, a grey one means rep from someone with less than 50 posts so no rep altering power, a red means negative (quite rare)
__________________________________________________ _______
As you receive more rep you're little bars will increase. Bars give you stars eventually giving you hearts. At each stage as you scroll over that area there are neat little sayings as well.

I hope that's cleared some questions up.Last edited by ilovemykids; Tue, Nov 25th, 2008 at 06:30 PM.

Inserting a link into text is SO easy.
For the purpose of learning we'll pick a word. In this case we'll use the word "HERE". And the following link.
http://www.forum.smartcanucks.ca/sho...064#post382064
Which is just the link to this post.
1. First COPY the link you'd like to connect your word to.
The link is located in the address bar like shown below.
2. Next go to your post you'd like to reply to.
3. Type in your word "HERE"
4. Click the insert link button located in your post tools
5. A new window will open up like below...
6. Now just paste your link you copied into that text box and click OK
Done.

1. First select your username in the top right corner of any page.
2. After you choose that it'll take you to your user profile. In there choose "Show All Albums".
3. Next if you haven't created an album before choose, "Add Album"
4. You will be taken to an album set up screen like the one below. Be advised that when you create this album it can be made "PUBLIC" if you are going to share the pics on the forum in posts for everyone to see. If it's made private only those ON your friends list can see it.
5. Once you have them uploaded. They'll be stored in your album. To post it, use the BB Code. Copy that long code and paste it into the post you'd like the image to be visible.
Be advised as well that the BB Code will look like the following when you post it:

On the right hand side of every thread in the beginning post you'll find the following:
This is how you rate a threads usefulness or relevance. By rating it up or down.

It's actually really easy.
You have the link right....
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z47EUaIFrdQ
You take what's AFTER the = sign... so that'd be... Z47EUaIFrdQ... in this case. And you paste that in between the you tube brackets.
YT]Z47EUaIFrdQ[/YT
Like that. (some brackets removed for the purpose of showing you) but this is what the end result is....
