My recent email to Olay.ca:

"Re: Olay Age Defying Bar Soap. Really disappointed in Olay for jumping on the "downsizing" products bandwagon. This skinny little bar is hard to hold onto when wet and doesn't last long enough to be worth my while or my money.


Consumers notice and we are tired of being the ones "taking it on the chin" for companies looking to make a killing instead of being happy with a profit.

I won't be purchasing this product in the future."

REALLY fed up with this practice. I refuse to repurchase any product that has been downsized unless it is on sale and I am getting a better value for my money. I don't need anything THAT badly that I will take it bending over anymore.

OH just to clarify, this product started out at 120g and is now down to 90g per bar.

Your email sounded not to bad, until the last sentence. If we want to be taken seriously, we need to act, and speak, making sure we are clear, concise, and doing so in a professional manner. I'm positive that this is not the first letter they have received regarding this issue as we all have noticed this happening. My dad always told me "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar"
