Hi Smart Canuck Friends,
I've just been able to get to a computer today, after a long 'hiatus'.
Thank-you ALL for your wonderful birthday greetings; they really gave me a lift today.
My 60th birthday was pretty good...I made myself a triple-layer chocolate cake (not unlike the one Patty Smyth sent me here!), and was having a nice day. But then the phone rang in the evening...and it was very bad family news...which sent me into shock and grief for the past few weeks over a seriously troubling situation. My spirits are better now.
Thanks again for remembering me on my birthday.
