Using "no offense" in the same comment as "greedy people" doesn't exactly excuse the insult but thanks for expressing your opinion of me.

That wasn't my opinion of you at all, and I wasn't calling you greedy. If you read my post properly I was calling the people who order multiples of the freebie greedy & that would cause them to stop even offering samples.

I think some people did fill out the form multiple times.

However, some people were sent multiple samples/coupons with only filling out the form one time (my experience).

So, I did brag because this happened without any "scamming" on my part.

She is talking about all the people on this thread bragging about how they have sent away every day for more samples...some saying multiple times every day. When people are getting 15 or more samples to one address....that is definitely taking advantage of a good thing and everyone else will suffer because they will stop doing these great promotions if people continue to take advantage.

We all know some people break the rules, I think they are aware that there could be rammifications for us all, however if that will cause them to change or not we will never know. If anything all they will learn is not to mention it here.

I'm not sure how effective calling them out or scolding will be. But on the other hand I know this is a forum for discussion.

Also some people are able to attain a lot of coupons in particular because they traded for them.

However, some people did not post how they got their coupons.
They may have received them through trading, being sent multiples, or been given them.

I would hate for this to become an accusatory thread, as many SCs receive many of these coupons through legitamate means.

eg. Sandyyy may have got here coupons without scamming. As she did not state how...

Okay guys, The promo didnt have to end because of people ordering it more then once. It ended because it went on for 4+ months. I mean really... If you didnt get yours in the 4 months its nobodies fault but yours and If you did get your and your complaining about others getting more then one, Is it really a moral issue or are you pissed you didnt get more while it was going on. anyhoo. we all enjoyed purex and they were awesome for sending so many samples.

I have a stockpile of Purex too. Only 2 were "bought" with $3 coupons. People can still buy on sale and use other coupons. I have a bunch of .50 cents off which I got in a trade. If Purex goes on sale, it's not a bad price. I had a bunch bought before the $3 coupons ever came out. Maybe this person did too....or maybe not....I dunno!

People aren't pissed because they didn't get as many as other people did....people are pissed because if people keep taking advantage of a promotion that CLEARLY says in the rules 1 per mailing address....companies will just stop having these great promotions. Nobody said that is why this one closed. Its been going for 4 months now so its understandable they would end it after so long. And these comments are only being made to hopefully make the people that DID send away for it multiple times (sometimes ridiculous amounts of times like 20 per day) to think about the ramifications of their actions for future promotions. Open their eyes so to speak. Just my opinion

I use ONE email address and ONE mailing address every time. They keep sending me samples and coupons in groups of 2-4. I can't do the same thing on other sites so I only get one on those. If the company had a problem with multiples you would think they would change the system slightly after months of sending out coupons and samples. My guess is they don't care......

Quantum removed the one from their site....
Aspirin changed the value of the one they offer....
Scott uses a coupon printer....
Multiple sites use save.ca and websaver.ca....
brandsaver is one per address automatically...

There are a multitude of security options out there IF the company choses the implement them. Purex has not.

Well its people you and your ONE email address and ONE mailing address everytime and a few others on here that order 20 samples DAILY that wreck sweet a** promo's like this for everyone else! It makes companies rethink doing stuff like this for the customer in the future because people abuse the system

OP said something about why scold or call out people for bragging about getting 20+ samples. Why not maybe by doing so it will make them ashamed of what they are doing and make them thing about it in the future. As far as i'm concerned i think if your gonna brag about stuff like that your setting yourself up for negetive feed back!

So... lemme get this straight just because they don't have security options to keep people from scamming means thats its "OKAY" to send away for tons of the same sample? Companies shouldn' have to do that! How about the good ol fashion honor system?

Are the companies even noticing? I mean honestly, if Purex saw that the same household address was being sent x many samples, then they wouldn't have sent them, given that the rules stated one per household. I don't think now that all the samples are out, they are going to go back and review how many people ordered multiples.

Though don't get me wrong, I think if a company puts out a coupon or a sample, we should follow their rules. This way we can continue to enjoy the things they offer us without ruining it for ourselves and others

People don't get the word "sample" it mean to try something to see if you like it and want to purchase it in the future, it doesn't mean subsidize your whole budget and cut out laundry soap because you just order a butt load of samples!
