Hello every1. Well I've survived the last few days, at least I think. @Davetherave , what are your plans for your holidays?

Wasaga Beach sounds nice. But whatever else you do, have a ball. Just be happy you're not at work. I'm sure there'll be plenty of it to welcome you back.
Re: exchange rate;
I went to the bank today, and every $200. Canadian, cost me $267.42
I'm really looking forward to getting away, and I love Florida.
Saturday morning, I'll be sitting on the beach with my coffee, watching the sun come up.

I hope you have an absolutely relaxing, mind off everything holiday hicks!
My DD went to Disney last december and the exchange was $1371 for $1000 American. In the end they spent $3350 American not including hotel, and wear and tear on each other taking a 4 and almost two year old.

Geez, that's expensive @dededi . We didn't take the kids till they were older, less dependant, and we felt they would appreciate it more.
You're right @heartgirl99 . You get bigger meals, and for less there. I think groceries are on par with the costs here though.
Been going almost every summer since 1994, when we bought 3 weeks (time share). Missed last year, and the years before and after my DH died. I just love it there. If I could afford it, I buy a place, and live there 6 months a year, but I'll just have to settle for 2 or 3 weeks a year. But, I'm not complaining.
