Good morning all.
@Davetherave - I WAS a 'basket case'. I couldn't keep my eyes open after dinner. I even fell asleep while dinner was cooking; thank goodness the oven beeps continually when the timer goes off. I was in bed by 8:30, and slept till 9:10 this morning.

It's a sunny, but cold day. I hope you have a good one, & stay warm.

It sure is SOME kind of cold out there today!! BRRRR!!!! Had to brave the cold to grab a few items at NF ( to try a new recipe out ) and I shuddered my way up the walkway with all the bags, getting those and cases of water/sparkling lemon water into the front hall.
So after putting things away, hmmm. cannot find my special treat of herbed liverwurst I bought. I was truly wanting to have that on some nice crackers for breakfast and figured I must have left it on the belt at the store.
I phoned just to let them know I'll come back if they see it there, they had to check the video footage, they'd call me back...hrmph! I brewed a coffee and debated what else to have instead.

THEN.....ha ha ha !! I see Rufus looking especially "coy " in his bed, his head down but his eyes looking up at me!!
OMG! that little bugger! He must have nabbed the tube of liverwurst out of the grocery bag as I was distracted putting my coat away. It took some doing but I tricked him into dropping it to open his yap for a chicken breast treat.

i never snatched anything so fast in my life because he is very good at keeping both unless you're fast! ha ha

That sounds so funny, but I guess it's not, unless it happens to someone else.
Jake's always got his nose in the grocery bags when I get home, hoping for something good. So far, so good - he hasn't taken anything - yet.
