Good morning all. Last for now.

What a crazy, very sad afternoon & evening I had.
While walking Jake, a neighbour collapsed just ahead of me. He'd stopped breathing, & his heart had stopped. I started CPR & called for help. Someone dialled 911, and another went to get his wife.

At 1st Jake thought I was playing - good thing I'd taught him to sit & stay.

Anyway, the paramedics & his wife got to him about the same time. Someone said it was about 2 1/2 minutes, but it felt like an hour. Unfortunately it was a massive heart attack, and he didn't pull through.
I spent much of the evening @ their house calling relatives & friends. He was only 51.

This just reinforces the line above my avatar - 'live every minute to the max'.

That is horrible and young.. Wow.. that is very scary.. and so sorry you had to se and feel that hicks.. Hope YOU are ok..

Hick that is so very unfortunate and sad to hear. I agree with RNC, 51 is definitely young.
That was incredibly kind of you to spend time calling for them.

I've never been down east. Have you been before?
I'd be excited too. Tough to last all week.

I have been to NB and PEI but it'll be our first to NS its exciting and I think hubby cannot wait to try the seafood.
I wish it was more then A 4 day trip but we have to snap back to reality with school / work starting back up next week. Yikes!
