Free Cheesecakes + PC Plus point overage

Update: Loblaws stores seems to have caught on and removed the point offer. Some people have posted that the pricetag still says 7000 points and were able to go to Customer Service desk to have the points manually added. But majority have posted the offer is no more. Boo-urns.

Now that PC Plus has rolled out to other banner stores, I figured the days of crazy points were long gone. Well to my surprise, found PC Candy Cane Cheesecake on sale for $5.99 with 7000 points (worth $7 for future purchase)! Picked up 3 boxes and some odd bits, redeemed 20,000 points and got 21,000 back.

I have a couple of potlucks coming up so this will be my contribution. Free cheesecake, point overage, and don't have to cook/bake anything, just gotta let it thaw!

They're in a freezer bin by the breads. They had two fully stacked columns. They were untouched...until I came along!

Update - Told my neighbour about this and when she went to buy them just now, the points were not automatic like mine. The cashier had to grab the price sticker and walk it over to customer service where the points were manually added. Just an FYI as you may encounter an extra step.

wow, i m so jumping on this deal if I can find the same in markham here! I can't live without cheese cakes, lol. even my freezer is fully packed now, I can put them outdoors, its cold as a freezer now, isn't it.

I find the flyer points at that store are never added automatically. The price sticker may be long gone by now.

One time I was at customer service at that location and a lady was trying to get a SCOP and she claimed that she followed the stock boy and saw him take the sign down so she wouldn't get the SCOP… Donno if that's true...

Wonder if this was an error? Supposed to be 700 points and they added an extra zero?

Also re the manual adding…that location has always refused to add missing points manually and has always told me to call the hotline?
