Okay...so I picked up 4 rolls of ribbon. All by the same company, same type, but different colours. Each had a different UPC#. They were priced at 6.99 but 3 of the 4 scanned at 8.99. So obviously I called SCOP on the 3 incorrect ones. The cashier, floral manager, front end manager, CSM, and store manager all tried to tell me that they would give me ONE free and adjust the price of the other two. Thats wrong, right?? They said it was the SAME product so per SCOP they could only give me ONE free. Thats not how I understand SCOP. Its per unique UPC #, is it not?? So after standing there for 15 minutes, standing my ground, explaining they were different upcs, and asking the store to review the SCOP policy, on top of saying that Im calling the Retail Council of Canada to clarify...they FINALLY gave me the three for free. But they made me feel like a cheap a$$ criminal! Was *I* right or was the store right and Im a dork??
