If you sign up to the DQ club and become a member, you will get a coupon in your e-mail for buy 1 blizzard and get 1 free.

They should send you 6 BOGO coupons per year. And one extra for your birthday month.
Used to be 12 BOGO coupons a year, but they changed it recently. Oh well!

It had been months since I last visited a DQ, so when they sent me my BOGO blizzard coupon for my birthday, I went. I do not have a local DQ, so it is not a big temptation for me. DQ has now started putting expiry dates on the printable coupons as well as you must specify a location when you go to print, and that coupon is only valid for that location.
The BOGO blizzard coupons apply to medium blizzards (the free one can be smaller in size, but what's the point?). When my BOGO medium blizzard came to nearly six dollars including tax, I questioned the cashier because I thought she made a mistake.
Next year for my birthday I will not be using my BOGO blizzard coupon. I will be spending the equivalent amount of money on good quality ice cream at the grocery store, and I will get much more.
DQ greatly disappointed me. I do not remember Blizzards being so expensive, even though I did take into consideration the HST.
