I earned a SCOP today at Walmart...let me tell you.
I wanted to pick up my 20ct of Finish Quantum to start my mail in rebates but I thought I would shop around for a better deal and use the $7.99 money back option instead.
I saw that the 60ct Quantum was priced at $10.97 on the shelf...with my $2.00 off coupon...$8.97 and then my MIR....would be pretty much free...so I took three...mine, mother in law and mom's...and went to the cash.
It rang up at $13.97 and the problems began....I told her about the shelf price and the SCOP.... was her reply...supervisor sent somebody to check the shelf....and.....15 mins later...she hadn't returned but called to say that I was WRONG...the shelf price was 13.97...what?...she ws asked to check again....5 more mins pass...store jammed...line up forming behind me....my ears turning red...I asked for the supervisor again...and we were about head to the back of the store when the person called and said that it was in fact 10.97 on the shelf!
Supervisor insisted that I would be my $10.00 off the reg price of 13.97 but that I could use my coupon...so after 30 minutes of waiting....I couldn't be bothered to argue...so in the end...I got:

    1 x 60 ct quantum...13.97 - 10.00 - 2.00: $1.97 + tx.
    2 x 60 ct quantum....10.97 - 2.00 - (7.99 MIR):0.98 each + tx.

I was too frustrated to celebrate but not a bad deal today if I do say so myself.....

Good for you. However, I would have stood my ground and got the first quantum for $0.97. Why can't all stores be consistent on SCOP?

Hate to be the bearer of bad new, but the mail in rebate is for the 20 Count, so I don't think they will send you one cause you bought the 60 count. You might want to double check before you mail it in. Sorry you had such a bad time with the scop, I hate it when you have to wait forever

the MIR is for the 20 ct or you have the option of " save up to $7.99 on any finish quantum product".....the other option is in smaller print in brackets below the initial offer....so hopefully everything will work its way out....

Agreed, it should be fine. Read the print in brackets under the Free MIR. Gives people the option to spend more, but only get 7.99 back for it, not full value

Agreed. I would be tempted to call HO about it and complain that it wasn't done correctly. Value should have been taken off the shelf price, not scanned price. If HO is agreeable, you may get something else out of it

You could also call the SCOP hotline (1866 499 4599) and say that SCOP wasn't applied properly. Since you actually purchased the product regardless, they should be able to help you.

Great deals on the dishwasher detergent. Even the SCOP wasn't applied properly you still stood your ground for that and got an amazing deal. I would go back and make sure they changed the shelf tag. If not I would grab another one. And do it all over again.
