My poor dh needed new work clothing so badly, but we had spent our weeks budget before he told me
.
anyways that prompted me to think outside of the box, our goodwill is in a nice part of town and seems to always have nice clothes. Also Tuesday- Saturday they have 50% off when you buy 6 items. Awesome!! They had a ton for him, I was able to get Perry Ellis pants, Mexx pants, Denver Hayes pants, two dress shirts and I found myself a Tommy Hilfiger sweater. After all was said and done I paid $20.50!! I was thrilled, they have all been through the wash and look brand new!
it it was my lucky day for sure!

Glad your DH found some good pieces for a steal... Never been to Goodwill or Salvation Army but I can testify that you can find great buys @ thrift stores. I bought a Gymboree top for my DS some time last year that still had the price tag on it @ Talize.

Thanks ladies! He is happy with the quality for the price. I had planned on buying him all new work clothes, but not right after Christmas. That and his VP is in town tomorrow and he wants to dress to impress lol.

Love this brag!!! great job!
I have found amazing deals at the thrift store, some items even brand new with tags!
in fact, I recently caught a 99cent kids clothes sale where I bought 2 snow suits and a couple winter jackets in great condition for my daughter! I could not believe how little I paid for them and we've already had tons of fun in the snow using those items.Last edited by r0c0upons; Tue, Jan 7th, 2014 at 09:19 PM.

My mom was redecorating her house last year and we went to our local thrift store to look for furniture and antiques. We ended up bringing home artwork, home decor, vintage books and accessories. You never know what you will find during a treasure hunt and if you stumble on a really great piece, it's worth every penny. i love thrift shopping!!!
