Thread: Nuts About This Deal!

I’ve been enjoying the coupons from the back of Kellogg’s MiniWheats cereal and have posted a couple of brags about them:
A “Berry” Good “Mini” Deal!
CHOCOLATE! This brag just got a little sweeter!
Today, I found another use for the $1.00 any almonds coupon.
I was at Shoppers Drug Mart and was browsing the reduced Christmas aisle when I spotted these:
4 x jars Simply Food Chocolate Candy Cane Almonds 400g
2 x jars Simply Food Greek Style Yogurt Almonds 454g
And the price????? Regular shelf price was $9.99 and now they were reduced to . . . drum roll, please . . . $1.00!
I had 6 x $1.00 any almonds coupons with me so I loaded those jars and did a happy dance to the check-out! FREE almonds!

That's the way to shop! WTG! But what are candy cane almonds? Are they coated in a candy cane flavour?

I'll open the jar and try one.

They are basically the same as chocolate covered almonds except that they have a light peppermint flavour with the chocolate. Very yummy!

That's a great price! At my SDM they were $5 so I passed on that because there was a bucketload of them and I'm holding out for cheaper lmao

what an awesome brag! almonds are the only thing i've ever gotten totally free from shoppers- one day I walked in and all the mini bags of almonds that are 99cents had $1.00 off managers stickers and they were still good! i couldn't believe nobody had grabbed them before me.

Candy cane almonds sound amazing! I am so glad every shoppers I've been too is already cleared out of chocolate because I wouldn't be able to stop myself from buying and eating it.

I picked up some of the chocolate candy candy cane almonds today too...and must say they are DE-licous! Even better than the gingerbread ones that I picked up a couple weeks ago! They weren't marked down to $1 yet here in BC... (they were still at $2.50) but so worth it! Yum. Annnnnd now I know to really stock up if they do mark them down to $1.
