I've been going crazy reading about the Target Xmas clearance brags but it was too cold to get out...finally when I was ready to go, DH told me that his car got hit in the parking lot at work & nobody claimed responsibility..no cameras on site either. I thought it was a minor damage...au contraire..the passenger side bumper was done in & something was hanging down as he drove off to take it to his mechanic..well he got a new Hybrid Camry (rental) so DS & I went with him to work yesterday( employer asked him to do OT) & I had the car afterwards...oh my, what a sweet ride(the car handles well except a bit heavy when moving off from a stop but who cares, it looked nice)...got to Children's Place in Heartland(Mississauga) & returned a snowsuit I bought for DS. They had a 50% sale on clearance + I had an email for an additional 20% ..wohoo...so I got DS a pair of cords $6.99(reg $19.95) & 2 LS Thermal tops for $4 ea.(reg $14.95 ea) & I still have ~$15 still on a gift card..
We then went to Bramalea City Centre & headed into Old Navy where they had an extra 30% off clearance.. Wohoo...I got me a frost free vest $11.18 & two scarves $7 ea & bought DS a pair of socks $1.39(reg $4),a pair of fleece pants $4.89(reg $14.94)& a LS top $2.09(reg $9.94)... Next to Gymboree, no deals there nor did I find any drawer locks/stoppers @ Babies r us express...next to Baby Gap..they had an extra 30% off clearance ...wohoo...so I got DS 1 pair fleece pants $7(reg $16.99),1 winter hat a( for when he's a but bigger) $2.79(reg $14.95) & a pair of khakis $7.69(reg $34.95)...next to Sears to pay my bill..couldn't help but go into the nearby kids dept..there was a 40% off clearance sale on ...wohoo..got DS a Levi's T-shirt $2.99(reg $12.99) & a Emma Jack LS button front hoodie $6(reg $16.99).... By this time the mall was closing but Target would be open for another hour so we went there ...headed straight to seasonal dept for Christmas goodies..I didn't expect to find anything but I lucked out in a few items..I bought 1 stocking holder $1.50(reg 15),1 pkg star ornaments $.80(reg $8),1 pkg glass ball ornaments $0.50(1 broken but lived the colours & this was the only one),1 pkg shatter proof ball ornaments $0.50..I also got a corduroy pants $5(reg $12),a LS Xmas themed bodysuit $0.59(reg $5.99), 1 Just One You Carter's reversible cardigan $4.99 & 1x 3 pk Circo bodysuit $3.99( to put in gift basket I'll be making for my expectant neighbour) & a picture frame $2.99..I'm still on the hunt for a Christmas tree skirt, lights & ornaments(not balls ..lol)so if I PM you this is the reason.. Glad I got a chance to finally get out with DS & get stuff at good prices..he was such a trooper though he slept twicevwhile being strolled.Last edited by Shirnette; Sun, Jan 12th, 2014 at 08:39 PM.

Shirnette: the Square one target had lots of lights but only blue and red. I was there on Thursday. They had lots of the tree garlands as well, but only mini tree skirts.
Too bad about the car but nice to be out an about in a new car.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.
