I am hoping for some help, I used to be able to price match non local at the Walmart in Bayers Lake Nova Scotia. I went there yesterday for strawberries to price match with FreshCo (in Ontario) and they would not let me. Can anyone in Nova Scotia let me know if they are able to price match non local at their Walmart? Many thanks!

I think you were lucky before!I've never been able to price match outside of NS. I emailed Walmart about their policy and this is what they wrote back.
Customer Service Response Via Email (WandaK) 12/31/2013 09:19 AM Here is the information you have requested be sent to you:
Price Matching
We allow price matching and the use of a manufacturer coupon on the same item providing the Ad Match follows the policy printed at the back of the flyer:
· Local competitor
· Flyer is current (not expired)
· The item is identical
Coupon
We accept competitor coupons if;
· Issued by a Canadian Competitor
· For a specific item for a specified price i.e. $2.97 (this is treated as an Ad Match)
· Buy one get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price
· They have a valid expiration date
· And are acceptable in black, white or colour
We do not allow coupon stacking ( the use of more than one coupon on an item.)

I tried to use a Coupon Zone coupon at Bayers Lake Walmart last year, and they looked at me like I had two heads. Even customer service hadn't heard of doing this, so didn't get to do it.

I wish the policy was the same at all the stores. I would pm everything! I was in Dartmouth yesterday and the cashier said printed ads only, no phones. I can't stand dragging my flyers in, my flyer app would be so easy to use. I was able to use a SDM coupon with no problem at all though.
