21-year-old Marian Nayda was killed near Krymske, Luhansk Oblast on August 23, 2018. The enemy attacked Ukrainian positions with heavy artillery and mortars; the fighting lasted 5 hours. The Ukrainian forces held their ground, but 4 men from the “Aidar” division were killed and 7 wounded. Marian was born in Lviv in 1997. Heorhiy Olkhovsky, call sign “Olkha”, was killed during heavy shelling near Starohnativka, Donetsk Oblast on August 23, 2018.Heorhiy was born in Zarichne, Crimea. He graduated from Petro Sahaidachny National Military Academy and served in Crimea until the occupation. When Russia invaded Crimea, he left his home with his family and settled in Lutsk, Volyn Oblast. He served as senior lieutenant, commander in the 15th Battalion of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. Heorhiy leaves behind his grieving wife and son. Вічна Пам’ять! Stanislav Diakonov was killed by a sniper near Pivdenne, Donetsk Oblast on August 24, 2018. Enemy shelling and gunfire was so heavy that it took over an hour to retrieve Stanislav’s body. Stanislav was born in Chervone, Sumy Oblast on March 24, 1985. He fought on the front lines as of 2015. He served in the 15th Battalion of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade.
