What are some good travel web sites?

My husband and I are going away in November and I'm wondering what travel web sites people have used and how you liked them.

Do you need specific dates or are you flexible? Do you have a destination you want, or is anywhere warm good?

Redtag.ca offers some great deals, and Sunwing.ca has last minute specials. It's always worth checking the airlines, especially Airtransat and Westjet I feel.

If you are not fussy, and just want cheap and warm, less than a week before seems best. It's hurricane season in the Carribean still, so deals to be had but the weather is iffy.

If you want more choice, or need specific dates, seems like the best prices are around 3 weeks before.

Start monitoring now, you get a sense of how prices drop, then rise as flights fill, then drop again last minute if not quite full.

Check Trip Advisor for various resorts, particularly if you are looking for an all-inclusive. But keep in mind there is no pleasing some people.

We need to go the week of November 5th due to work schedules. We want to go somewhere hot and my guess is we'll end up in Mexico because we really want good food! Thanks for the info, I will check out those sites.
